Topics in Quantum Computing
Description
This book discusses several topics in quantum computing and the underlying principles. The topics include complex numbers, matrices, Grover's algorithm, Shor's algorithm, the BB84 protocol, and entangled photons. There are four appendices which cover polar and Cartesian coordinates and a brief introduction to Boolean algebra. Extensive use is made of examples, diagrams and chapter summaries. The answers to all of the end-of-chapter problems are available in the solutions manual.
