The Voyage of the Sharky Sloop and the Quest for Orange Marmalade

Red Stocking the Pirate is up to his old tricks again and has pillaged all of King Gee-Dub's orange marmalade. The brave Captain and crew of the Sharky Sloop spring into action and race to Skull Dugger Island, where they hope to get more orange marmalade for their friend, King Gee-Dub. Throughout their adventure, they'll contend with a spying parrot, endure captivity by the fearsome Tom-tongos, and encounter the dreaded Red Stocking the Pirate. It's a daunting journey even with the help of their mascots, Tumbleweed and Mr. Fritz. This quest will require all the skill and courage the crew can muster.

Excerpt from book: “Skull Dugger Island… Skull Dugger Island… squawk!” Jasper added.

“And they’re going to Skull Dugger Island?” Red Stocking assembled the crew. “I have just received word that our arch enemies are now at King Gee-Dub’s. They are planning to set sail for Skull Dugger Island to get more orange marmalade. We need to get there first to capture the orange marmalade for ourselves!” The opportunity to foil the plans of the Captain and crew of the Sharky Sloop brought a mischievous smirk to Red Stocking’s face. There was just one little problem: they missed last tide and couldn’t sail until morning (but then neither could his adversaries). There had to be a way to get the upper hand and keep the Sharky Sloop from getting ahead of him. What came to mind made his face beam even brighter. It was time to pull out the pirate manual of dirty, sneaky, and generally low-down tricks. There was only one real option. Red Stocking pulled out his cutlass, thrust it into the air, and yelled out, “Raiding party!” and this made the crew all cheer!
