Defiance

Nyako is your average seventeen year old. She attends school and has a job. She has a passion for cars, which she expresses her vast knowledge during the long hours she works at her father's mechanic shop. Being obessed with vehicles, a particular one appears in the school parking lot one day catching her attention. Her curiosity gets the better of her, needing to go and find out what it is, causing her to end up having to get a ride from Kyle, the owner of the strange exotic car. The friendship that quickly forms between Nyako and Kyle causes her overprotective father to step in and try to take control of the situation. Frustrated with her father trying to control her life, Nyako sneaks out of the house and travels to another country with Kyle, his brother and their best friend. An expedition of a lifetime turns into chaos as Nyako discovers well hidden secrets that tie into a chance event that happend in her past. Friendship, love, and determination keep her going, but only time will tell how long she can keep defying the odds.
