For young marketing executive Allison Morris, life is good. She’s got a great job, a close-knit group of friends, and lives in one of the most fun cities in the country. Everything changes almost overnight when she goes to her cousin’s wedding and meets the man of her dreams, a Captain in the US Army. Following a whirlwind romance, Allison finds herself leaving everything behind to follow her new husband to an Army base in rural Bavaria, Germany, only for him to deploy a few short months later. Isolated from her family and friends by thousands of miles and seven time zones, Allison carves out a new life as an Army wife, with all the excitement, all the struggles, and all the politics that come with the territory. When her husband’s Humvee hits an an IED while on patrol in Iraq, she must muster all her courage to make it through the days ahead. Together, Allison and her new circle of Army wife friends learn that “Army Strong” doesn’t just apply to soldiers on the battlefield.
