Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco: An Adventure In Scouting Excellence Since 1927

Located in the hills of the Kittatinny Mountains, Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco has served as a Scouting home to campers since 1927. When NoBe opened, the goal was to create the perfect Scout camp for the boys of Bergen County: a place with room for indefinite expansion, and endless opportunity. Since that time NoBe has grown to become the largest Scout camp in the state of New Jersey. From the group of trustees who banded together to acquire the land, to the Staff today who continue to ensure NoBe's success, the history of Camp is filled with stories of fun and adventure. With a rich history and tradition of Scouting values, and having served over 100,000 Scouts and Scouters, NoBe continues to be one of the most popular Scout camps in the State of New Jersey. This book seeks to chronicle the history of Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, and like all histories, it will continue to grow as our adventures continue. As new Scouts visit Camp, new chapters will be added to our tale as they unfold!
