Workers' Compensation Opt-Out: Can Privatization Work?: The Texas Experience and the Oklahoma Proposal November 2012

Texas is the only state where employers can choose to opt-out of the state's workers' compensation system. The report shows that for larger employers, deregulated workers' comp results in much lower costs, better medical treatment and the flexibility to make workers' comp work better for their employees and for them.
