The Manager’s Guide to Technology Transition in an Evolutionary Acquisition Environment is published by the request of, and in collaboration with, the Office of the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Advanced Systems and Concepts (AS&C). This second edition of the Manager’s Guide incorporates updated versions of the Department of Defense’s 5000 Series, Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), and recent changes to the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
