She finds a heavy distraction in a boy she never knew existed before. Ezekiel Arum is gorgeous. For August, having a crush is scary. Boys never worked out before. Until now she had almost given up on finding a boyfriend. It soon gets harder to deny her wants and when she begins to fall for him, the manifestation begins. It brings with it a horrible fever that she will have to endure every New Moon. August hopes she can survive it. There is always a chance that she won’t. It’s happened before.
