Dragon Lady (Volume 1)

In "her" own words, musical superstar Veronica Totzi tells the story of her life, loves, tragedies and successes from her birth to age fifty, in three volumes. Volume One chronicles her life through age twenty-two. Veronica explains why she is special and why she was destined to become a musical superstar. She matures from a spoiled teen aged superstar who is not afraid to throw a tantrum if things don't go the way she wants them, to someone who has mellowed somewhat and is more tolerant of things. Through it all a strong woman develops, because of her personality and what life throws at her. The reader learns that while Veronica is beautiful, smart, a musical genius, and quite different from most of us, she still ponders the same questions everyone does: Why do good things happen to bad people? Why do bad things happen to good people? Her crisis of faith takes years for her to work through completely. After carrying around baggage of tragedies for more than thirty years, a chance reading of a magazine spurs her to revisit one of the greatest of them, the death of a fiancé. She takes a chance at reconciliation and hopes for a happy denouement.
