In the far distant future, in a forsaken galaxy of dying stars, the last great war between good and evil erupts when the Devil King of the Dark Forever attacks the haunted world of Phate. Overwhelmed by the Devil King’s vast legions, the cosmic guardians of the universe call upon Drinwor Fang, a young dusk elf deemed the Son and Savior of the Stars. Bequeathed the legendary Sunsword Surassis, it is his destiny to fight for all the universe. But before he can defend the forces of light, Drinwor must elude the clutches of an even more despicable fiend than the Devil King... Enter Warloove, the vampire lord of the dark elves, who’s mysteriously obsessed with stealing the sunsword. Shrouded behind a swirling cloak of smoke, his eyes burning yellow with hate, Warloove mounts his massive demonic dragon and chases Drinwor across the sorcerously destroyed landscapes of Phate. Terrified, alone, and on the verge of being captured by Warloove, Drinwor is mercifully rescued by the wise and compassionate Morning's Hope, an ancient greater translucent dragon who's sworn to protect and guide him on his quest to imbue the sunsword with a soul. The pair are soon joined by Vu Verian, the last of the sky elves, and Morigos, a crooked, sarcastic mage whose loyalty strays from light to dark. Together the group races to the Hall of Voices, where Drinwor will face his ultimate destiny. But with Warloove closing in, and five hundred thousand volcanic spirit dragons desperately fending off the Devil King's vast demonic hordes that are already climbing to the stars, Drinwor learns the most terrible truth of all: if he is to save eternity from suffering the savage onslaught of the Dark Forever, the sunsword will demand the sacrifice of his world, his life, and his soul...
