Having worked in Remand Home as a Probation Officer it did not take long for Mr. Murthy to realize that every child that happened to be there had a definite story to tell. A few uncommon cases have been recounted and presented as fictionalized stories. Nevertheless, original contents have been kept intact. With the exception of two instances, in all other cases, names of children have been changed so that, as per law, official secrecy is maintained.
