Nyx in Seattle is a monthly series, starting in January 2013 in which a Filipina woman, Mariella, having lived in both Asia and Europe, explores not only the city of Seattle but her own identity, sexuality, desires, and dreams. Through the Nyx in Seattle Series, Mariella will journey through negotiating one's identity living in two worlds culturally while coming to terms with her comes naturally to her own human nature.
