Lt. Col. John R. Murphy, Jr. served as a bombadier instructor during World War II. He's also been an amazing role model to his six children and has loved and cared for his wife of sixty-seven years. She suffered a stroke in 1974 in her mid-forties, and for over 38 years, John has devoted his life to caring for his lovely wife, who has not been able to speak due to aphasia. He has been an inspiration to many and has been able to show others what love really means. Caring, Patience, Love, Faith, Hope. And most importantantly - Humor.
