Springfield Automatic: Pocket Size Edition

Here is a new detective thriller. A series of crimes appears at Staten Island in the mid 1920s. Although a pattern exists to these foul deeds, the police can not solve it. A private detective, Steve Gower, is called in. He works as a car salesman for his uncle Frank and does detective work as a sideline. For a long time the case stays stale and refuses to break open. The story builds as more information comes to hand. Persistence and hard work finally give him some leads on the case. The Frantelli crime gang, is involved. After trailing them to their stronghold, and staking them out, they are finally put into a fierce gun battle. The law wins. The setting, the people, and the action are described in such a way as to build tension and interest for the reader as the tale unwinds. Everybody will enjoy Springfield Automatic.
