Hot Tap

This is a story of the rags to riches exploits of a Texas man. He changes his lifestyle while gaining the important things he’s overlooked throughout his life. He starts out a dope addict, and then circumstances drive him toward his quest for happiness. He sells his stash of valuables for a great amount of cash which allows him to pursue his dream of living on a boat. He finds a boat for sale that needs a lot of repair; he changes it to run on natural gas, fixes it up and heads out to Louisiana and hooks up with an old buddy of his. He soon discovers an underwater natural gas pipe deep in the swamp that he taps to fuel his boat, thus the name Hot Tap. He falls in love with a local Cajun girl and with her learns to scuba dive where the adventure really begins to show. The discovery of sunken treasure then subsequent retrieval is not only imaginative but very lucrative. He learns to trade commodities and is very competent with it. The introduction of many local characters adds color and emotion. They travel to old New Orleans for an adventure, also Ft. Walton Beach Florida, then New Jersey, and then toward the end head to Key West for a party to die for!
