Coffee Shop Church: Sharing the Gospel Outside of a Church Context

Let's face facts... Church is scary for some people. If it's not scary, it might be irrelevant. hypocritical? too ritualistic? boring? Whatever the case, church isn't on the top of most people's priority lists. The result: A major decline in terms of church attendance. In light of that, Coffee Shop Church calls Christians to share the gospel by meeting people where they are, literally where they are. This concept is known as "Incarnational Ministry." It's the idea of being friends with non-Christians in order to make the gospel (good news) good again.
