A Promise to Keep

This book is a romance/murder mystery. In the first section, two teenagers, Tommy Jackson and Tammy Moore, have a summer fling in a small community in Northern Florida near the beach. Tammy is a visitor to the area, but Tommy has lived there all his life. In the second section, the book fast forwards twenty years or so, and Tom Jackson has become an investigator for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). He is assigned to a very brutal murder of a college-age couple during Spring Break in Panama City, Fl. The boy victim was easily identified, but the girl victim remains a Jane Doe, as no one knows anything about her. The investigation takes Tom Jackson into Georgia, and along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and Florida. The book contains sex and violence, so it may not be appropriate for young ages. It is pure fiction, but some of the places in the book are real. This book is a page turner and it will keep your interest high.
