Watercolor Sketching: An Experiential Approach

Artist's Statement: I firmly believe that watercolor sketching can be pursued on any level of experience and professionalism. From the accomplished artist, to the serious student, to the amateur artist, to the novice, all levels can benefit from the experience. new edition of “Watercolor Sketching”is ten after the first. In those years much has occurred. I retired from university teaching in 2006. I taught my final watercolor sketching class in the Black Hills of South Dakota in 2012. I have made few changes in the text of the book, but I have changed many of the paintings used and added a new section of student sketches. It is my hope that this little book can continue to help some people in their watercolor adventure even though my active teaching has ended. -- Mark W. McGinnis
