The Bamboo Wall

The South Pacific Islands can be both beautiful and mysterious; friendly yet guarded; poor but possessing a wealth of secrets. Take a journey with James Clark, a young, idealistic aid worker as he attempts to break down cultural barriers in an effort to help, but comes up against the bamboo wall; a wall that obstructs him from becoming fully accepted in village life; a wall that hides many dark surprises; a wall that serves as a filter distorting this young aid worker’s understanding of island life… and maybe even his own.
