A Maine Coon Cat's Tale

This delightful photo book is a collaborative effort between Richard L. Dodge and his Maine Coon cat, Leif. Richard had become quite incapacitated due to a traumatic brain injury suffered during a car accident. As years dragged on with little improvement, he sought out a feline friend to keep him company. This book is the story of the close friendship that emerged between Richard and Leif, but more importantly it bears testament to the healing that can result from sharing one’s love wholeheartedly with another being. Today, several years later, Richard’s rehabilitation continues, and he is stronger and more coherent than ever. The clever layout and design were produced by Dave Brady, an award-winning graphic designer. The great photographs of Leif were taken by Richard L. Dodge, Jeff Price, and Dave Casanave.
