As a girl, I loved to listen to my mother and grandmother talk in the kitchen. When my oldest son married and moved to Finland, I missed being able to get to know my daughter-in-law and her family. My mother can't tell her stories anymore, and my grandmother is gone. But I love working in the kitchen with a group of women and telling stories. Three members of my family are lactose intolerant, one has gout and needs a gluten-free diet.
