Deliver Us from Evil

The Ancient of Days prayed this: Our Father in heaven, Holy is Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done in the earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil: For Yours is the kingdom, And the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Just as we need our daily bread we need to forgive those that hurt us. In a world filled with temptations we can receive help from the One who created us. He is the only one that can deliver us from evil, because His Kingdom of power and glory is at our fingertips. We can reach out and touch Him. The presence of God is as close as your own breath. This story deals with some of the outrageous behaviors that we see in our world, our neighborhoods, our churches, and our homes. Cain decided to kill his younger brother and ever since then, there has been a long history of violence, abuse, and sexual sin. Even if there are demonic influences, we have an advocate in heaven, who will hear us when we call.
