Stories of the Bible: A Bible Story Book for Children of Progressive Christians

A Bible story book to be read with small children. Written for my own children when they were 5 and 7, it portrays the Bible in a simple way youngsters can follow while showing the flow of biblical history through the Old and New Testaments. It views the Bible in the light of progressive Christian ideals of God's love for all and human responsibility to care for each other as God's children. And it reflects the results of the things scholars have learned about the Bible over the years. Each story has a colored illustration.
