Joseph Zimbicki has worn many hats in his life-time. He is the oldest of 10 children born to Polish immigrants. As a young man he spent two years working in the Civilian Conservation Corps, and later served four years in the United States Army during World War II. He then worked in a steel mill for 42 years.
