The Kama Sutra: The Bible of Sex Positions

The Kama Sutra is the bible of human sexual behaviour written in Sanskrit literature. While the section “On Sexual Union” details various sex positions, the book is not just a “how to” manual, however. Much of the book is written in prose with inserted verses and it is a guide to gracious living that also touches on love and family life. It is the oldest of texts known in general as Kama Shastra. Historians believe the Kama Sutra was written between 400 BCE and 200 CE. But some scholars believe its present form is from the second century. (Readers Note: this edition is not illustrated.)
