Little Grandma Stories

Nobody dreamed there could be such things as computers! When I was little, people didn’t even have TV!” Growing up in New York City all those years ago was both different from and similar to what childhood in an American city is like today. The stories in this book offer glimpses into what life in the 1940s was like for one little girl. Written in brief chapters and a direct, informal style, stories are geared to children five and up and can be read independently by many second graders.
