To me, love (and the giving of love, and the absence of love, and the stealing of love just the feeling of love) is the catalyst of every subsequent sentiment that spurs the ignition of all others. Anger is a jilted love. Happiness is a reaffirmed love. Sadness is a lost love. Joy is a family s unending love. So I write about love. If these poems that follow stand for anything, let it be love.
