The Game of Life and How to Play It

What makes Ms. Shinn's work appealing is her wit, charm and humor. I don't know how many times I smiled as I read this book. Filled with anecdotes and drafted with a personal, "grandmotherly" style, it is though you are sitting down for a cup of coffee with Ms. Shinn as she relates her personal pearls of wisdom. The Game of Life and How to Play It is easy to read, for although it is a highly spiritual work, the emphasis is less on the esoteric and more on the practical. Specific examples of practical application of God's Universal Laws are provided throughout - and not just any examples, but real life examples as experienced by Ms. Shinn. The book concludes with a section of Affirmations, some of which I liked so much I added them to my personal Success Manual.
