Mystery of the Sweetgrass Hills

This historical novel opens with a 1975 archeological dig of an Indian village in an area now covered by the Tiber Reservoir south of the Sweetgrass Hills in Montana. Spanish artifacts found there date back to the 1600's. How did they get there? Early Spanish exploration never progressed that far north. The mystery of the artifacts covers 400 years. Related early territory development and American Indian culture including conflicts caused by the intrusion of white people are historical features. Woven into the novel is a love story of dedication and commitment through hard times. Actual geological formations of the Sweetgrass Hills create additional mystery that continues to the present day.
