The Manufacturing Essentials program refreshes and develops the student’s production knowledge/skills sets applicable to incumbent production technician jobs in the advanced manufacturing industry’s 14 sub-industries and prepares the student to sit for the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) assessments. The complete Manufacturing Essentials program is comprised of the following units:

This unit provides you with the knowledge/skills sets pertaining to safety awareness on the production floor. The unit also prepares you to sit for the “Safety Awareness†assessment portion of the MSSC CPT certification.
