INTRODUCTION: An easy, fun, and exciting game the entire family can enjoy! This book is an easy, fun, and exciting game the entire family can enjoy! It will not only help your child learn his/her alphabets and numbers, but will also assist in letter recognition through repetition and pronunciation. For each alphabet describe your eyes using adjectives such as BIG, little, round, squinted, droopy, bright, oval etc. After describing the color of your eyes say the color of your eyes (i.e. brown, hazel, amber, blue, etc.), and finally state what your eyes spot that begins with each alphabet. For example, with my BIG, brown eyes, Eye Spot Airplanes; Airplanes begins with the letter A. Then ask your child what does he/she spot’s that begins with the letter A. “Eye Spot†the purple dachshund (dog) will help you along the way. For the numbers portion of this activity describe your eyes using the aforementioned adjectives (i.e. BIG, little, etc.), immediately followed by the color of your eyes (blue, brown, green, etc.), and finally state the number of articles, items, people your eyes spot. Knowing your child’s style of learning is important at an early age. It is advantageous for students to understand their type of learning style so that homework and learning may become easier and less stressful in the future. It is also important for parents to understand their children’s preferred learning style so that you can help your children and your children’s teachers understand the importance of nurturing that particular style of learning in the classroom and at home. There are three main types of learning styles: 1.) Auditory Learners: Hear 2.) Visual Learners: See 3.) Kinesthetic Learners: Touch The Eye Spot My ABC's and 123's caters to all three styles of learning. It caters to the hearing style of learning through parents working with their children by sounding out the alphabets and reading the sentences having their children listen and repeat. It caters to the visual learners by children being able to see and retain the alphabets and the sentences by seeing fun and silly pictures of "Eye Spot" to explain what the child is seeing. Kinesthetic Learners learn from hands-on experience. The activities within the coloring book will cater to this learning style. Parents remember: As a skill is practiced or rehearsed over days and weeks, the activity becomes easier while naturally forcing the skill to a subconscious level where it becomes permanently stored for recall and habitual use at any time.
