The Learning Curve

When Samantha Bryant loses her job teaching high school English, she thinks her future as an educator is non-existent. That is, until one of her graduating students, Cameron Steadman, assures her his father can get her a job at his school. Over the summer, he and Samantha become friends, until she thinks she might want the friendship to explore romance. When he drops the bomb he is a homosexual, their relationship morphs into something beautiful and long-lasting. On her first day at her new teaching job, Samantha meets colleague Jeff Steadman and the relationship bursts with sexual potential. While their chemistry is brewing, Cameron turns to Samantha for advice about whether or not to come out to his father and how to cope with the recent divorce of his parents, while Samantha struggles with just how far her relationship with his father will go.
