Garnet plans to find her father quickly and leave on the next stage coach. She doesn't count on finding him in the care of the ruggedly handsome miner, Wyatt Tanner. Posing as a miner, the deputy is in Montana Territory to find the man who murdered his brother and tried to steal his gold. Playing the part of the gold-obsessed miner becomes harder and harder as Wyatt is drawn more and more to the woman sharing his tiny cabin. His goal to find justice for his brother is put on hold. As danger closes in on him and Garnet, the marshal quickly realizes there are some treasures far more than gold.
