The Angel And The Agent

Andrew McTavish, an FBI Art Theft Division Agent, is working on a cold case, the theft of Degas's The Chorus, stolen from the Cantini Museum in Marsielles, France, during the turn of the year in 2009-2010. He falls for one of the suspects, Rachel Brandt, a beautiful philanthropist who works as a volunteer at French Art Museum, also located in Washington, D.C. He learns quickly from his best friend, reporter Jack Thompson, that she can't possibly be a suspect. As their romance builds, McTavish finds that the missing Degas is actually at the Brandt Estate in Annapolis, MD and Rachel may have something to do with the theft. The death of Rachel's father brings the real thieves -- one of which is Rachel's former fiance' -- into town and the art itself is recovered.
