Dawn of Creation is a wild and magical tale where Harry Potter© meets Tron© and answers the question, where does magic come from? Born into a world of Wizards and Witches, Donal is a man of position who oversees the guarding of a great bowl-shaped depression in the heart of Ulandria from which the Wizards draw their power, the Caldera. He has wondered about the Caldera and its magic since he was a boy. Where does its magic come from and how, exactly, does it work? But to openly ask such questions means death, so he holds his yearnings inside. Life is predictable, almost boring, until a strange man named Sam Welch crawls up from the Caldera's depths to collapse unconscious at Donal’s feet. No one but Wizards can enter and exit the Caldera, yet Sam just had and is clearly not a Wizard because Donal knows them all. Following orders to kill anything that comes from the Caldera save a Wizard, Donal raises his sword to strike Sam dead, but something stays his arm, something from deep in his gut. He lowers his sword and launches all of Ulandria on a wild and mind-boggling journey where they learn the dark secrets about were magic really comes from, but not in a way that any of them could never have imagined, much less expected. Because Sam knows what magic really is, he knows because he created it!
