Sam and a tap, tap, tap: Book 2 (Sprouts of AZ)

Sprouts of AZ series of beginning readers books take readers through a step by step process of reading. Sam and a tap, tap, tap is the second in a series for readers. In this book, they will build from their experience with -am words and introduce -ap words such as tap, lap, and nap. Additionally, the first five words on the Dolch High Frequency Word list are continued from the first book, The ram and Sam. Each book in the series contains a list of words used in the book, instructions on how to properly and effectively use the book, as well as a creative page for the children and questions for comprehension. These books are currently used in Sprouts of AZ Preschool in which two, three, and four year olds are fluently reading.
