Neidinger has prepared a 30-lecture adult education series on video, “The History of Christianity.” This series traces the history of Christianity from its rise amidst the Hellenistic culture of the Mediterranean, through its spread across the Roman Empire and beyond. Dr. Neidinger explores the theological, social and political developments and conflicts which characterized the history of Christianity, from its beginnings up to the Reformation and Counter-reformation. This new volume is a companion to the video series, and comprises lecture notes in outline format. Notes are amply illustrated with thumbnail color photos, diagrams, maps and plans referenced in the video programs. It is not a stand-alone account of the history of Christianity, but is meant to be used as a study guide by viewers of the video series.
