Raw, opinionated, and edgy are the words that describe Real Talk. It is a compilation of several Facebook statues the author posted on her wall from 2009 until 2014. These statuses are not edited but arranged in chronologic order and preserved in their own original context including the writing, content, abbreviations, slang, and lingo. You will laugh as the author uses comedic wit and her alter ego personality "Nola Jean" to comment on a variety of subject ranging from love, relationships, child rearing, politics and her Christian Faith. You will be inspired and may be shed a tear or two as you follow the author's journey of highs and lows as she battles an incurable disease all while taking care of her son, Mason, whom she affectionately calls "Duece" .
