The Fisks of Madison County Alabama: The Descendants of James Benjamin Fisk

In about 1802, James Benjamin Fisk married Tabitha Goodwin in Laurens County, South Carolina. This was the beginning of an adventure of a pioneering family who found their way to a frontier area of northern Alabama before it became a state. This book is an effort to document the family tree of James and Tabitha which began with 13 children. Their descendants are traced in this history of the very large Fisk family that has spread from Alabama to Tennessee, Texas, Florida and other parts of the United States.
