Washington Square

Wealthy Dr. Austin Sloper lives in Washington Square, New York, with his daughter Catherine, a sweet but dull woman who is a great disappointment to him. When Catherine meets the charming Morris Townsend her father strongly disapproves, believing him to be after Catherine's money. He may well be right, forcing Catherine to choose between her her father and her fiancé.
