Burnt Offering

A fire in Malibu, California abruptly changes Taylor Marsh Casey from a newlywed into a widow. Although Peter's death is considered an accident, Taylor believes he was murdered. As an agent for Art Research Kinetics, Peter suspected ARK was involved in a conspiracy of fraud at prestigious art auctions. Aware of dangers to her own life and despite warnings from a psychic, Taylor pursues his case leading to a famous auction up north. She is determined to find the killer who destroyed her life and exact revenge. Peter's fire-damaged Rolex acts as a talisman, a burnt offering, for protection, but Taylor takes along her Glock 17, just in case.
