Deathsworn Arc 2 : The Verkreath Horror (Volume 2)

Saul and his companions begin this tale outside the dragon's lair where they battled the dragon 'Thrax' in the final scenes of 'The Last Dragon Slayer'.

Having barely caught their breath, the survivors are forced to flee the sinister 'Servants of the Flame'. When they arrive at Strak they expect a chance to recover from their injuries and to enjoy a period of respite before making the long trip back to Cormaroth.

Unfortunately they find Strak in a sorry state and after being forced to flee the town through an unexpected route, they find themselves facing an even more fearsome enemy than the 'Servants of the Flame'. Almost constantly on the run, tired, injured, and low on supplies - will the companions ever see the light of day again? At times, it seems doubtful they will ever walk through the gates of Cormaroth to collect their prize.

Deep beneath Torea, in the depths of 'The Warren', they meet another gravian and Brael's 'Truth' is finally revealed. When the adventurers learn what 'The Truth' is, they immediately wish they hadn't.
