Sleight of Hand

Danny isn't a hero and this isn't the typical fairy tale that you're used to... When Danny Nimbus picks the pocket of one of the Fae, he ends up taking a highly coveted magical artifact. His life is turned in on itself as he is violently absorbed into a world he once thought only existed in fairy tales. Everything about the "fantasy" that has seized Danny's life is gravely dangerous. Magic and murder grasp at him from all sides and he soon learns that there are Fae and Humans alike seeking what he stole. The very fiber of his being is put on the line as he becomes a hunted outlaw in the world of magic as well as his own. But there is an even darker enemy that looms in Danny's future. One whose threat casts shadows in his worst nightmares. One that Danny might not be able to rise above his status as a pickpocket to face.
