A variety of short stories about Nell's extraordinary life growing up during the Depression, being in the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II, her 49-year marriage to Tommie, her charismatic ancestors and extended family, and her delightful and beloved grandchildren. In addition, she has included some fictional stories she wrote while attending a Creative Writing class.
