Lucifer

A wonderful retelling of the fall of an Archangel from Heaven, Vondel's "Lucifer" shows the mind of Lucifer and follows him from a loyal servant of God to his ultimate expulsion from the Kingdom of Heaven. This work is said to have greatly influenced Milton's "Paradise Lost".
