Close observers of the African continent are doubtful Africa is anywhere to becoming self-reliant in the years ahead. This first volume of ‘The way forward for Africa’ aims at refreshing the minds of Africans about the current crisis of the continent by mapping out Africa’s history right from prehistory to the colonial era and till date. Without prejudice, this work analyzes African crisis and cogently argues out the negative elements responsible for Africa's backwardness while proposing ways to move the continent forward.
