Description

Come Up Here is about the sudden end of the Church Age and the events that take place thereafter. One of my goals in writing this book is to give hope and anticipation to those who love the Lord, and to remove the doubts and fears that are associated with the Book of Revelation. We need not fear something that we are destined to escape. It amazes me how many Christians have little or no concept of who they are or what part they play in this drama of life. For the most part, their view is that the Church is an on going, permanent fixture. Christians, let me enlighten you; each of you is a part of the Bride of Christ. Jesus is the Bridegroom. The Bride longingly awaits her wedding day as she lives through her engagement period, which I must add, seems a bit long in the tooth. Suddenly the Bride is "called out" to Come Up Here! Exit the Church, enter Israel. God still has unfinished business with Israel and the world. He will deal with His people and His enemies in the ensuing years. Mull over this fact. Why did Jesus tell the disciples that only the Father knew "the day and the hour" of the time of the end? Jesus knew the exact day when the end would arrive according to Daniel 12:11. Jesus Himself was establishing the foundation of the Rapture of the Church with this statement even before the Church was formed! And for the scoffers who endlessly mock, "Where is the promise of His coming?"--to you I say that the moment after the Church is removed, your question will be, "What just happened?" Finally, what "generation" was Jesus referring to regarding seeing the beginning sign (Israel brought back to its homeland as a nation) and all of the other signs that He named in Matthew 24:32-34. He said that "this" generation would not pass away until the completion of all of these things. The only generation that He could be referring to is the World War II generation. I am 64 and my generation plus all generations following mine came too late to know or understand about Israel as history took place. My grandparents generation are all gone. My parents generation, the World War II generation, are fading fast, but they are the ones who saw and know of Israel. These facts put all of this into a well defined perspective, timewise, if you catch my drift.
