📖 Description
ALDEBURGH LOCH LONGS presents a celebration of Loch Longs at Aldeburgh Yacht Club from their first appearance on the River Alde some sixty years ago. The Loch Long One-Design, a 21-ft, half decked, timber keel boat is the largest of the classic small boat classes active around the coasts of Britain today. A brief history of the class at Aldeburgh includes lists of trophy winners, class captains and boat owners, along with a set of photographs of boats active in the fleet since the foundation of the class in July 1962. The book also presents A DIARY OF A SEAGULL, an unexpurgated series of unreliable reports on Loch Long Saturday afternoon racing on the Alde in the summers of 2003 to 2007.
