Conversations

Conversations is the debut work from author Lauren Nicole. An unpacking of sorts, this book details the arduous journey into adulthood and the path to becoming a productive member of society (whatever that means). While these poems are semi-autobiographical, the themes are universal. Conversations touches on topics of love, loss, abuse, addiction, depression, revelation and renewal. The overarching theme is one of self-expression – despite our past experiences, the beliefs of others, or any obstacle along the way. This book encourages a reclamation of one's voice. The conversation can always begin anew.
