A killing in the Delta
Description
A young Robert Gentry returns from the Korean War with a wounded leg and a lifelong limp. His childhood love has married a local banker. He is left with 3oo acres of worn out delta land to try to scratch a living. He marries a neighbor girl and settles in to live out a life of poor white trash. Then one day his life is turned upside down again by tragedy. Upon returning home, he finds the sheriff and a murdered wife. It doesn’t take long for the sheriff to decide he is the killer. The only person that can free him can’t come forward. When there seems no hope, a man from his pass comes on the scene. Alex Blaine a known homosexual becomes the only thing standing between him and the electric chair. This seems more than the Mississippi Delta can take in the 1950’s. Alex’s appearance will open old wounds and cause old ghosts to reappear.
